Students get 10% off all treatments with a student ID valid on the day they pay. Skincare products are not included.
The underarms are $55 a session or $275 for six. These are our standard prices, and at the free consultation we plan your areas and sessions with you.
A bundle treats several areas in one session, for less than booking each on its own: Silk duo adds the full face to your underarms for $110 a session. Every other area is on our price list, and laser hair removal cost in Chicago sets a package against paying per session and against waxing.
With a Beauty Bank membership the underarms are $48 on Plus and $42 on Elite: your monthly fee goes into a balance that rolls over and buys at member prices.
Light and Platinum, our two most popular bundles, both include the underarms.

How many sessions underarms take
Most clients need 6 to 12 sessions, 4 to 6 weeks apart, because the laser only reaches hair in its growth phase. Skin tone, hair colour, genetics and hormones set your number. Our underarms client had nearly complete reduction after the full course. Call us at (312) 600-0705 and we can tell you everything in detail.
Week 1
After your first treatment, some hairs begin to shed.
Weeks 2 to 3
Some follicles stop producing hair, and the rest look thinner and lighter.
Weeks 4 to 8
After your second treatment, hair grows back slower and much finer.
What an underarm session feels like
We know a treatment can be a big deal. Don’t be nervous: we’ll make sure you’re comfortable and relaxed.

Before
Shave the day before, with no waxing or plucking: the laser needs the root. No sun or self-tanner for two weeks, no scrubs for a week, and no deodorant or lotion on the day. Not during pregnancy, and from 3 to 4 months after a birth.
During
The Candela is less painful than other lasers, and our special cooling system cools your skin the whole time. Most clients say it feels like a light tingling.
After
Redness for 4 to 6 hours is normal. Keep out of the sun and heat, and leave any crusting alone.
No need to remember it all: we text you how to prepare, and it is all in before and after your session.

Can I wear deodorant?
Not on the day of your session: come with clean skin, without deodorant or lotion. Shave the day before, and do not wax or pluck between sessions, because the laser needs the root. The rest is in before and after your session.
Is it permanent?
It is long-lasting, but not always permanent: a few hairs may grow back, thinner and lighter, and a top-up after a year or two keeps the result.
Does it stop ingrown hairs and razor bumps?
Yes. Shaving every few days leaves them in the underarms, and laser stops the hair at the root, so the shaving and the bumps stop too.
Does it work on dark skin?
Yes. Darker skin, types V and VI included, is treated on the Candela GentleMax Pro’s 1064 nm Nd:YAG, which reaches deeper and leaves the melanin at the surface alone, so we do not turn it down.
Can I have it while pregnant?
No, not during pregnancy. After a birth we start or resume treatment from 3 to 4 months, once your hormones have settled.
Do you do underarm laser hair removal for men?
Yes, and the men’s bundles on our price list include the underarms.
